I am running for Mayor because I believe Rochester's future should work for everyone, not just some. I want our city to be a place where families can actually afford to live and thrive, where our neighborhoods are safe, welcoming, and connected, and where our young people see a clear pathway to success right here at home. We must ensure our small businesses and entrepreneurs have the opportunities they need to grow, while our arts, culture, and innovation continue to flourish. Most importantly, I want to make sure every resident and visitor feels heard, valued, and respected, knowing they truly belong. Let's move Rochester forward together.
Rochester families are being squeezed by rising housing costs, property taxes, and childcare expenses. As Mayor, I will bring together city leaders, developers, nonprofits, and community partners to expand housing options across income levels, create pathways to homeownership, and reduce barriers to affordable childcare. Rochester must be a city where everyone can afford to stay, raise a family, and build a future.
Small businesses are the backbone of Rochester's community, and they need leadership that listens and acts. As Mayor, I will support entrepreneurs, reduce unnecessary barriers, revitalize commercial corridors, and strengthen partnerships between the city and the business community. When small businesses and working families succeed, all of Rochester prospers.
Every resident deserves to feel safe in their home, neighborhood, and throughout our community, and true safety cannot exist without trust, fairness, and justice. As Mayor, I will support a balanced approach that supports law enforcement and community, strengthening community policing, expanding mental health and crisis response partnerships, and ensuring our systems remain transparent and accountable. Safer communities are built not only through enforcement, but through trust, relationships, justice, and shared responsibility.
Rochester's strength lies in its diversity, and every resident deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and able to belong. As Mayor, I will foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and shared responsibility, expanding opportunity across every neighborhood through youth development, workforce pathways, civic engagement, and community connection. Rochester's future will be strongest when every resident and visitor feels respected, valued, heard, and know they belong.
Trust is the foundation of effective government, and residents deserve visibility into and meaningful engagement with decisions before they reach the City Council. As Mayor, I will implement a user-friendly Transparency Dashboard, create early opportunities for public input, and lead regular listening sessions and town halls across Rochester. Trust is not built through words alone. It is earned through transparent leadership, ethical decision-making, and genuine partnership with the people we serve.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
